When it comes to brunch, who doesn’t love it? It is a combination of items from both breakfast and lunch so there is so much to choose from. So for one evening with special guests, we swapped our cheeseboards for brunch boards!
What did we have for our brunch spread?
The table was full of delicious items! There was butter, strawberries, raspberries, herbs for garnishes, scrambled eggs, macarons, bacon, maple syrup, honey, jam, grapes, and an assortment of five cheeses. The five cheeses were: Camembert, Mimolette, Bleu d’Auvergne, Tomme Brûlée, and Emmental (grated on top of the scrambled eggs).
Each guest had their own individual board and then picked items they wanted to include on them. We challenged them to #makeitmagnifique and picture-worthy and they sure were up to the challenge. Once they finished, they were free to munch on their boards and drink it alongside brunch staples, Mimosas and Bloody Marys.
Safety precautions were all adhered to for the event and everyone had a great time building their boards, eating, and drinking. You can do your own brunch boards at home by mixing and matching your favorite brunch items. Remember one thing: don’t forget the cheese!
