Compound Butter, Quarantine Style (05/01)

On May 1st, to celebrate National Butter Day, we challenged three food lovers to make their own Beurre Aromatisé aka Compound Butter. We organized the delivery of four delicious French butters because French butter is the best butter especially during quarantine. We asked our guests to broadcast live to their followers. The idea was to showcase their creativity by creating a compound butter with whatever they had in their pantry (herbs, spices, sugars,etc.). This is to promote minimal food waste.

Tina (@wanderingeater) opted to add curly parsley, black pepper, garlic, rosemary, and a zest of lemon to her French butter. Stephanie (@thisgirleatsny) & Brandon (@nyc_cheatdayking) decided to make a garlic & herbs compound butter and used it to cook a rib steak! We’re glad that all of them enjoyed their creation and we encourage all of our readers to take up the challenge by making their own compound butter.
