July 19th, The French Cheese Board was pleased to welcome a group of children from Alliance Française for a discovery session about French Cheeses. After they got to know a bit more about the cheese making process and the different families of cheese, they had to taste some cheeses they had previously, more or less successfully, identified. The Etorki got a huge success, due to its sweetness and buttery flavor which is specific of sheep milk cheeses. This was a quite different story when we got to Bleu d’Auvergne… Its pungent taste was a bit too strong for some of them. Remember to balance it with some honey if you feel the same!
And finally, they were invited to express their creativity through a cheeseboard workshop. We were lucky to have an inspired and talented groups! Check out their works of art!
